Problems with login to a virtual machine running SLC 6

Changed:
<
<
There is a problem when a SLC6 machine gets a new Mac-Adress. In such a case a new network device is created and it is immpossible to acces the machine via ssh. The solution is to start the vncviewer to access the console, log in and remove the udev file /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules with the wrong information. After reboot the file is automatically recreated. A detailed description can be found here

After reboot the file is automatically recreated. Probably one has to edit the file after reboot and change eth1 to eth0 and also correct the MAC address in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0.
